For the first time ever we did a full week of spring break and spent it on this amazing cruise ship. So here are my first few pages I got done.  More to come...

Latest Projects

My Easter visiting teacher gifts (some cute spring emery boards and hand sanitizer I found at shopko). The ribbon and tags are Stampin' Up of course.

I made Bre a cute knit skirt.  I got a bunch of different knits and am going to make all of my girls some fun skirts for everyday wear.  I found lots of tutorials where you don't even need a pattern and I pinned them on  Pinterest

Meet Rex

Rex is the new guinea pig.  Addie has begged for a pet for a long time.  We made a deal with her that if she could learn to put her contacts in and take them out all by herself and be more responsible then we would get a small pet.  So the girls adore him.  He is quite a cute little guy but also quite the poo factory!

Baby Bliss

Today was Tallie's baby girl shower.  I had so much fun putting this together.  Here's a peak at some of the fun things.

Loved the idea of the diaper cake center piece.  So I had to make one.  These are just rolled up diapers put together in the shape of a layered cake.  So the decoration doubles as a gift!

Personalized thank you favors.  I made the stickers in PSE and punched them out with a 3/4" punch.  I just love these.

I made the banner out of  little onesies.  So the decoration doubles as a gift once again!  It says "Baby Girl".  It was hard to get a good picture against the window because of back lighting but you get the idea.

 Invitations were a pocket card.

I am so excited for Tallie to have a little girl and so glad I got to do this for her.  Everyone had a great time. We had a diaper raffle.  Everyone that brought a pkg of diapers got to put in a raffle ticket.  We drew names for the prizes.  The prizes included a gift card to Khol's and a gift card to Cold Stone.  Some other prizes were little bundles of cards that I made.  Thanks to everyone who brought food.  It was so wonderful!

Latest Creations

Here is my Valentine's wreath.  I found the wreath base at Hobby Lobby for 1/2 price and put some red silk flowers on it attached with some thin wire.  It was really easy.

There are so many cute subway art printables.  I got mine from Stampin' Up.

This is my over sized mason jar that I love to switch up for the holidays.

And here are the latest card creations:

Happy Valentine's Day!

Why Haven't I Been Blogging?

A whole month has gone by and I haven't even updated my blog.  There are always so many things that something had to go.  This last month I redid my entire home office.  I cleaned it out and got new real grown up office furniture ( hope to have before and after pics soon.) Now my hubby and I can both work in the office together comfortably.  And we love it!  I have been buried in year end tax things for the company.   I have been helping to redesign our booth for the Housewares show coming up in March.  I put up some Valentine's decor and decided I needed a new front door wreath so I made one.  I have been preparing for a February card class.  I finally got on Pinterest and had to figure all that out. Now these are just some of the extra things besides the usual things I do with work and home and church that have kept me from blogging.  In January I usually get a bee in my bonnet to reorganize and redecorate everything.  It's a constant battle to be organized.  When I get one room under control the way I like it, then there is always another that gets more out of control.  It's a vicious cycle.  So I've been making changes to my office and stamp/craft room and next I want to tackle the kids rooms.  I even thought of changing up the whole color scheme of my living room.  I am tired of being so neutral.  Any ideas are welcome.

Homespun Fun

For Christmas Eve we opened a fun family present...a cotton candy maker! No kidding, you can really make it at home now.

You can crush candy canes and make cotton candy out of the candy cane sugar...yummo and crushed nerds works pretty good too.

 Our Christmas Nativity Pageant angel.
We put on own own little nativity pageant.
The kids love dressing up and acting out the story.
You just can't have Christmas without it.
Merry Christmas!

Piano Recital

We had our first piano recital.  Bre and Levi have been taking piano from aunt Kara.  We had our recital at the church with their cousins and all the family then went over to grandpa's for treats.  They did a wonderful job playing their Christmas pieces. I am so proud of them.  I love hearing the piano being played in our home with familiar Christmas melodies.
