One more thing from July: Dustin went to Taiwan on a business trip just before our reunion. It was a neat experience but the time difference being opposite of ours was very difficult so he felt sick and exhausted most of the time. He met with the broker that we've been dealing with over there and made sure they got some of the changes taken care of with our grainmill. He got to visit two of the main factories and learn more of the processes that go on in making our products.

Time to Catch Up

Ok, to catch up. In July was Breanna's birthday. She also took a crash course in Ballet for 3 weeks. We will start again in the fall. We went to the Discovery Museum in Salt Lake. We also had the Palmer Family Reunion which I will do pics of next. And finally we spent a day up at Bear Lake. We are getting ready to leave for California in two days for our last big summer activity. Time has really flown by.

Spencer Reunion

We had the Spencer Reunion today. This is Dustin's mom's side of the family. We ended up at Craig's becaue it was too rainy to have it at the park. We always do a food contest. This year it was fruit art. So we made a few fun things. The group picture is of all the cousins: Dustin his siblings and his cousins. Then there is Laura, Tallie and I...the sister in Laws. It was a good get-together despite the rain. Glad we have a family that does get together regularly.

What's Going On

Well, I thought I'd actually write something for a change. So here is an update on what's going on. Levi and Addie have started soccer for their first time. For the month of June they have soccer camp twice a week then practices and games start in the fall. I carpool with a friend of mine. I promised Bre that she could take Ballet. There is a place really close by that has a summer session but not until July. Leia, I really need to potty train but I've been avoiding that like the plague and can't find the time so I need to make and commit the time. We are involved in a community garden with some friends. Our neighbor accross the street has a big lot behind her home that has irrigation rights. So she let us till it up and we are doing a group garden there. Dustin had done all the work on that. However when harvest comes, I'll get my share of work as we try our hand at canning and preserving. We have a billion tomatoe plants so I want to try and bottle spaghetti sauce. If anyone has a good homemade recipe for that let me know. Well, I am trying to get used to all the kids home from school now. It's a little crazy. Addie, for the first time, had a friend over for a sleepover. She is into that now. This summer schedule is exhausting. Everyone is up so late becaue it is light out and we get woke up at 6am by Leia. I think it's time to put foil on her windows so maybe she'll sleep longer. Well, kids are calling me...gotta go.

The Lovely Month of May

Hi, here's a quick page. It's actually my desktop page for the month. I download the desktop and just add my photos. Later I print then in 4x6 size for a brag book. These are my after mother's day pictures. On mother's day I was down in bed all day with a pinched nerve in my neck and shoulder...not fun at all. I guess I over did it the day before trying to sand and mud the ceiling in the room we are trying to finish in the basement. Anyhow, I got the room all painted and it's almost ready for carpet now, horray! It's going to be my new craft room. I'll have to put photos up when it's all done. Well, this month is going by so fast. It's been very busy. I have sand dunes pics to put up next...would like to scrap them first of course. TTFN
